Migration Advisory Service

Arabic Welfare’s migration advisory service is a free and professional service offered to people who have been in Australia for up to five years. Our team of trained and qualified registered migration agents provide support and advice on a range of migration matters.

What does the program offer?

Our qualified and registered migration agents see eligible clients, both at our central office and at our outreach locations. Clients are seen on an appointment basis and are provided with:

  • Information about how to sponsor a spouse, children, parents, fiancé/fiancée and other family members
  • Support with refugee, humanitarian and family cases
  • Information and advice on passport and citizenship matters
  • Advocacy and assistance with the preparation of supporting documentation
  • Information and advice about migration law and provisions

Who is eligible?

Newly arrived migrants and refugees from diverse Arabic speaking backgrounds, who have been in Australia for up to 5 years.

How can people enter this program?

Self-referral or through a referral following an assessment with our settlement service team.
