Over the weekend, Arabic Welfare took a group of youth to Melbourne Museum to witness Titanic: The Artefact Exhibition!
This is the only exhibition in Australia to feature more than 200 real artefacts, recovered directly from the Titanic wreck site.
The outing aimed to bring youth together to bond over their shared love of art and history. The youth spent the rest of the day reminiscing of their childhood over lunch, and discussed what inspirations they walked away with after learning the rich history of the wreckage.
We can’t wait to see what kind of art pieces these youths will create during the Makani program as a direct inspiration of this trip!
