Arabic Welfare, in partnership with Merri-Bek City Council, recently delivered an information session to the seniors of our community about the threat of COVID-19.
We had insightful testimonies from key members of the community, where they talked about the struggles they faced while dealing with COVID-19 and what ultimately lead to their decision to book their 3rd and even 4th vaccination.
The session then had an open forum for all attendees to discuss their stories and personal beliefs about the COVID-19 virus.
Finally, all attendees were treated to a delicious lunch, where the discussion branched off to other topics that are facing our community.
It was wonderful having so many unique perspectives telling their stories, and we can’t wait until the day we can do it again.
