Arabic Welfare, in partnership with NorthLink, recently delivered an information session to newly arrived refugees about the high demand of employment in the caravan manufacturing industry.
After the series of lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many Australians are choosing to do their holidaying in Australia, rather than plan a trip overseas. This has caused an explosion in demand for traveling caravans, with even more demand for workers to help manufacture them.
The positions available varied from administration work to production-floor workers.
Arabic Welfare and NorthLink put out the call about the opportunity, to which over 30 people expressed interest and attended the information session, with more than half signing on to be trained a suitable position!
